I think that Madrid is what I'm dreading the most in the traveling part of the program, since it's a lot bigger than Oviedo and I couldn't find bus routes to Estación Sur. So getting lost would be a pain, but besides that I think that I am going to love it over there. Living with a host family is going to be a blast! I've never lived away from home for more than about 4 weeks, and that was with occasional visits. So it'll be a good experience to get away. I'm hoping the communication barrier won't be too much of a problem with the family, and I hope they'll be warm and fun to be around. Those are the other fears I have: not having anyone fun to hang out with and having the communication get in the way of EVERYTHING.
I'm also excited for the food haha. I've heard they have terrific food there. And then I'm hoping the beach will be fun. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much for it, but it'd be nice to have a place to go to take it easy perhaps if I get way too frustrated with the language. Anyway, see you all over there!
